About Airport Express
Serving Chicago Since 1853
Our history starts back in 1853 when visionary Frank Parmelee began Omnibus service between railroad lines and around Chicago. In 1945, the Parmelee’s add a division called Continental Air Transport Co. In 1983, Parmelee’s Continental Air Transport Co. division was purchased and renamed to Continental Airport Express.
In 2007, Continental Airport Express joined forces with a consortium of other ground transportation operators throughout the United States to help found a new national organization and brand, The GO Group, LLC operating as a GO Airport Shuttle.
As the Chicago operator, Continental Airport Express adopted the official GO branding to become GO Airport Express.
In 2024, GO Airport Express was acquired by New England Transportation Group and re-branded back to Airport Express with a new logo and identity mark. The new owners and operators are proud to maintain a relationship with the national GO Airport Shuttle network as one of its providers.
GO Airport Shuttle remains the official national brand located at gowithus.com and services more than 85 airports worldwide.
